Klasky-Csupo

Klasky-Csupo is one the of the most important companies that produce cartoons; it has earned a lot of respect from the fans and the media. This company was founded in 1981 by:
Arlene Klasky: founder and co-chairperson of Klasky-Csupo Inc. Arlene and her partner Gabor Csupo founded the company combining their graphics and animation skills. She is a very creative person who has been able to produce several successful TV cartoons, and she gives her best to bring fun to the lives of kids and adults.
Gabor Csupo: founder and co-chairperson of Klasky-Csupo Inc. Just as his partner, he has been one of the reasons why the company is successful. He designs, supervises, and animates animated commercials and TV station promos.
This company was founded in 1981, and in 1983 the company was moved into its first real studio environment on Seward Street. In 1988 Klasky-Csupo had the chance to produce one minute teasers of the Simpsons, and they continued to produce every episode for the first three seasons of the series. The next project of the company was a series based on the adventures of a group of babies called Rugrats. This animated series was created, written, and produced by Klasky Csupo and Paul Germain and premiered in late Summer of 1991. In 1992, Rugrats earned Klasky Csupo and Paul Germain the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program (Nickelodeon's first Emmy), and in 1994 they received another one.The series also earned the Ace Cable award for best animated programing in 1994.
Klasky Csupo continued its success with the animated series Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, the story of three monsters attempting to learn the way of scaring humans. Debuting in 1994, the series won a Daytime Emmy Award nomination.
Klasky Csupo also partnered with writers/producers Jeff Reno and Ron Osborne of Paramount Television to produce Duckman, a very different and original show on television. Duckman is the story of a detective and his dysfunctional family .
In 1995, the studio debuted Santo Bugito, the first Tex-Mex animated comedy. Created by Arlene Klasky, Santo Bugito is the story of a tiny town of 64 million -- bugs that is! -- located on the border of Texas and Mexico.
Stressed Eric, created by Absolutely Productions and starring the voice of Hank Azaria, debuted in the UK in 1998 and also aired on NBC in the US.
The Wild Thornberrys, which debuted on Nickelodeon in 1998, skyrocketed to the number one most watched show on all television.
In 1999, Klasky Csupo produced another great cartoon for Nickelodeon. This time it was about the high-speed adventures of kids who are into surfing, snowboarding, bikes and other extreme sports. Rocket Power became yet another highly rated hit. And in the fall of 2000, As Told By Ginger also made its debut on Nick.
Klasky-Csupo is still producing successful series like All Grown Up, the Rugrats spin-off which we hope will be alive for a long time, thanks to the creativity of this company.
We also have to remember the people who work on the TV series:
